A classic, well loved diamond head shaped weeder that cuts and slices small weeds and leaves them where they lay. The diamond hoe is a scuffle hoe, meaning it cuts on both the push and the pull, which makes it very efficient for removing weeds. With a head that is right around 5" wide and sharpened on all 4 sides, the diamond hoe is great for working around plantings and early in the year is fine even where plantings are tighter together. It is an aggressive tool and should be used with caution around young plants and near plants with shallow roots, as a slip of the hand or loss of attention can lead to an inadvertent undercutting of something you didn't mean to cut. Total tool length from tip to handle is 13-15 inches. The tool has a 3/8" square steel tool shaft. All our tools are made with an American hickory handle.
